TRIMMING ACCESSORIES
Profiles:
J Profiles
J profile is designed to cap the end of panels or premeter such as ceiling or top of the wall
H Profiles
External Profile
Internal Profiles
- To cut the panels use a steel blade on angle grinder or a drop saw with an aluminum cutting blade to get a smooth cut
- It is highly recommended to wear your safety gears such as goggles and earplugs when cutting the panels
- Always use P‐16 glue with the mechanical fixings of screws in punching holes for a sound installation of the panels
- Panels can be fixed either directly to the metal and timber frame or on an existing finished surface like plasterboard
- Cut and install the end cap using glue and screw where the paneling starts and along the sides of perimeter
- To fit the first panel firmly into the J profile (end cap) prepare it by trimming the male side (tongue) then apply the glue on the substrate wherever the panel touches at least within every 400‐500mm apart. Begin the panel installation by Inserting either ends to the j profile then push the trimmed edge against the starting point using scraper to guide the panel. Make sure this panel Is fitted in a square and plumb position because all the rest will follow the first one. For the following panels you only cut the length to size and follow the same process and the last panel will fit together with J profile then to be fixed only using glue
- On a standard wall of 2.7m if it is %100 true, you may only require minimum 4 fixings starting from 10‐30cm off the top and bottom edge and two around the center to fix the panel in place but adding more glue for safe and secure installation. In case of installing the panels directly to the framework (steel or Timber), screws should be fixed on every stud or batten with the combination of our recommended P16 glue and screw. The maximum frame spacing on the ceiling and walls is 450mm apart
- After completing the installation, simply wipe the dust to get the best look of the panels
